International School Manila is fully committed to the goal of delivering a superior international school program. The holistic approach is incorporated in teaching and guiding the child's mental, emotional and physical development. Highly skilled and experienced teachers are trained to recognize each student's learning style and adapt their teaching methods so that individual learning is maximized. Early primary class size is 15 while the regular core classes do not exceed 24. International School Manila was the first school in the Philippines to receive accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The School's accreditation was reviewed in 2000, and IS Manila once again was granted full accreditation until June 2007. The School has also been recognized and accredited by the Philippine Department of Education and Culture (DECS) since June 19, 1975.
