Sea and Sun Inc. was formed by Barry and Belinda Deeney in the later part of 1999 with start up target in the year 2000 to celebrate the millennium. The idea of having a native-type village for Europeans that want a place in the sun to call there own, was very attractive for several reasons. Barry and Belinda are the owners and operators of a beach resort called Moby Dicks in Sayao on Bantayan Island which is a resort by the sea with three hectares of land surrounding it. Within the three hectares, there are new mango trees planted in random fashion, and many other tree variety's such a nehm / mahogany / coconut / royal palm etc.. Many of the customers that became friends expressed a desire to have their own cottage where they could spend several months a year, lay back and enjoy the island life.
